I’m so glad transparency is on trend. Sheer black articles of clothing have become a staple in my wardrobe over the last year or so as they’ve become more readily available. I’m just waiting for warmer weather so I can wear them out again. One recent trip to the thrift store landed me with five sheer black pieces! The striped sheer black hoodie in these pictures I bought on Ebay, though, after much scouring to find a perfect sheer black hoodie (the listing is unavailable now, otherwise I’d provide a link). I’m wearing my Melt Cosmetics lipstick in DGAF again.
The blue top I bought at a Target and the pleated black skirt was thrifted. The transparent rain boots I bought at a very small shoe shop near my workplace (I work in the Mission District in San Francisco). I believe it was right next door to La Altena, if anyone in the area is interested in checking them out. I had previously purchased a pair online and ordered the wrong size, so when one of my co-workers alerted me to these I nearly jumped on her out of excitement because I could try them on IRL. All I need now are fun pairs of socks to show off through the boots. 90% of my socks are black. 90% of my entire wardrobe is black. I wish my eyes were black.
Side note: My camera has arrived (until now I used my iPhone)! I just need a free day to mess around with it and take more pictures. I work every day of the week except Mondays, so scheduling time to work on blog stuff can get a little tricky. I’d really like to film a lookbook video if I can get over being super weird in front of filming cameras. I also have a few fun DIY things in mind that involve googly eyes and glitter.
